silversmithing classes

Ken teaches silversmithing classes through the Rock & Mineral Club in Traverse City and gives private lessons. Fill out the form below for more information.

Classes through the Rock Club are limited to Grand Traverse Rock and Mineral Club members only.

Personal silversmithing classes are:
One day classes, 8 hours long, all materials, tools, cabochons, are supplied. Class cost is $175 ($90 application fee (non-refundable) & $85 due at class end.) As well as offering a Starter Silver Kit (enough silver to complete 4-6 pendants, for $75-$85) and a Basic Tool Kit (all the basic tools to help you hit the ground running! Starting about $175)

Classes are held at several locations, most common, The Leelanau Studios, located at 10781 E. Cherry Bend Road / Traverse City, MI (Formerly Norris Elementary) and AuSable Artisan Village, Grayling, MI.

Payments accepted: cash, PayPal, and Square.
